Ask an Expert: POP3/Imap settings for Gmail and Yahoo

Helen asks…

What is the POP3 server for incoming mail and the smtp server for outgoing mail for gmail?

I have Windows Mail on my computer, and you have to use your existing e-mail account to use it. I need to set the POP3 and SMTP server for it. What are they?
I tried putting in pop.gmail.com and smtp.gmail.com. Needless to say, it didn’t work.

Matt NJ answers:

I think you might have to change from pop3 to imap. Screenshot step by step instruction click to follow link
